From Opening Ceremonies to the Parade of Champions, the 2008 Softball World Series is packed with games and events. Opening ceremonies and a picnic will be held at Vanderberg Park Little League Complex on Sunday, August 10 at 6:00 p.m. Twenty-nine pool-play games will be played Monday through Friday culminating with the championship game on Saturday at 1 p.m. The awards banquet is Friday, August 15 at Western Michigan University’s Bernhard Center. The Parade of Champions, honoring all series participants, will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 16.
