Looking Back at 30 Years of
Softball World Series in Kalamazoo
THE DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENTS
The Distinguished Service Award was initiated with the 1986 World Series Tournament. Tournament Director Bud Vanderberg developed the award to recognize those volunteers who have, through outstanding efforts, helped make the Kalamazoo Softball World Series a one of a kind, first class tournament. On August 16, 1986, Bud presented the first award to Dick Dombos. Additional recipients of The Distinguished Service Award are listed below:
